The Mazda RX-7 is a car that feels perfectly balanced when you take it on the road. Not only does it have a fairly decent speed and acceleration, but it’s perfect for drifting. To add on, it’s affordable as it only costs 35,000 CR to have it in your garage.
This Japanese sports car is perfect for races that have sharp turns in them. With the proper upgrades, you’ll find yourself cutting corners very easily in no time. Just keep in mind that this is more of a budget vehicle if you don’t have money to throw away.
7 Deberti Toyota Tacoma TRD
If you’re somebody that prefers to use trucks in Forza Horizon 5 you’re in luck. Surprisingly we have a truck making this list. However, this isn’t any ordinary truck. It’s the Deberti Toyota Tacoma TRD, also known as “The Performance Truck”. The name is true to its title as the Deberti can almost do it all.

6 Mosler MT900 GT3
One of the more expensive vehicles on this list is the Mosler MT900 GT3. This supercar is part of the Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels expansion pack. There are multiple ways to obtain this behemoth of a drift car. You can obtain it by paying 500,000 CR, the "Zoomies" mission, or the auction house.
It has excellent breaking and handling ensuring that you have total control of the vehicle when making sharp turns on the track. Not only does it perform amazingly, but it looks incredible. You’ll feel like a superstar in this supercar.
5 Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion
The Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion is a unique drift car on this list. It takes practice in order to master its handling since the vehicle is lighter than most drift cars. Once you get it down, it’ll end up being your go-to drift car.
In order to obtain this vehicle you have to purchase it through the Car Mastery skill tree of the 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7. While the acceleration is considered to be moderate, it has amazing speed capabilities. You should give it a try if you have the chance. You won’t be disappointed.

This next car doesn’t need any explanation or introduction as its name says it all. The Formula Drift #91 BMW M2 is a DLC car that specializes in being able to drift around the racetrack with ease. You will need to have the Formula Drift Pack or Car Pass pack in order to use this vehicle.
It was designed to cut corners with ease while also having speed capabilities during races. For 300,000 CR, you’re getting quite the deal in terms of having cars that can drift in your garage. Not a bad trade-off at all.
3 Ford “Hoonicorn” Mustang
The Ford “Hoonicorn” Mustang is a reliable drift car that has been featured time and time again across the Forza series. Making its first appearance back in Forza Horizon 3, the Hoonicorn has a powerful engine that can smoke any opposition as it has an amazing speed output, making it one of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5. Not only that but it can be used in both on-road, and off-road scenarios.

The last vehicle on the list is one that many drift fans may know about and that’s the Formula Drift #34 Toyota Supra MKIV. While it may appear to be lacking in power, this Toyota Supra MKIV has top-tier speed, braking, and handling capabilities, which makes it one of the best drift cars in Forza Horizon 5.
This high-performance vehicle will cost you 300,000 CR, which is a steal considering what this daredevil of a vehicle can do on the road during races. No other drift car can compare to the Formula Drift #34 Toyota Supra MKIV
