CHAINTECH 7NJS ZENITH USB DRIVER
The board layout is rather like an original nForce motherboard layout. Being based on the nForce2 chipset, you can't use older AGP 2x video cards in this board, as it is not electrically compatible. Placement of the power connector Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH USB like it was done on the fly, with very little thought put into it. Being located between the chipset and backplane, this means you have to drape across the CPU heatsink, reducing cooling over the CPU.

More thought and care next time please Chaintech. Twin NICs there, why only one? Another flaw we saw was the use of only one of the onboard NICs. It would have been nice to have both LAN's enabled for those of us connected to Broadband Internet networks. Chaintech has opted to position the remaining audio ports on separate brackets to keep Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH USB rear-panel clean and easily accessible.

The AGP slot comes standard with a locking mechanism, which should prevent expensive graphics cards from reeking havoc inside the case during transit. Turning the board, we begin to explore a very densely populated area of the motherboard. Although this chipset seems to provide all the flexibility Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH USB could ask for in terms of hard drive support, there is an unfortunate characteristic inherent to the chipset which severely limits the combination of hardware which can be used. Given the lack of any volume presence for SATA hard drives at the time this review is written, this trait certainly creates an issue to those individuals looking for an onboard-RAID solution for traditional IDE hard drives.

The golden heatsink comes with a clear fan assembly to actively cool the chipset and a fan-guard which mimics the Chaintech Zenith emblem. From end to end, one would be hard-pressed to find any available space on the board, as there are chipsets, slots, and headers galore.

The sole exception of this characteristic is the area where we find the memory traces heading towards the northbridge. In addition to this convenient gap, there is an absence of tall capacitors close to the CPU socket.
This is excellent news to those who would be looking to use a hefty aftermarket heatsink. A strange quirk but a quirk nonetheless.
It is highly recommended that the windows be taped. The empty CBOX2 can then be painted to match a case that is black.

The guts can stay safely away from misguided paint spray or, if handy with a Dremel, mounted to another drive door. Remember that modding will void any hope of a warranty.
Do so at your own risk. A Smart Card Reader connection is possible but not available. The CBOX2 with its 6 cables can present a bit of confusion. There is no guide as to what cable goes where. The solution is simple.
USB cables only fit on USB headers and each of the ribbon cables is different so only a specific cable can Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH USB on a specific header. Look at the pin holes and match them to the pattern of pins. Rounding out this endless box of goodies is the backplane guard which it is significant to note that it is of sturdier construction than the normally flimsy aluminum backplane guards. It is a foam padded box containing the coveted Chaintech key chain. Which can be used to hold those keys that you use to lock up the PC case.
Touring the board The tour Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH USB, as it usually does for Icrontic, with the socket area. Heatsink mounting holes are visible and only two capacitors may cause mounting problems depending on choice of heatsink. Early this year, we reviewed the Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH (based on the Supports up to six USB ports; IEEEa/Firewire controller. Today, we present you the Chaintech Zenith 7NJS motherboard that is Supports up to six USB ports; IEEEa/Firewire controller.
